I came across Johnny B Truant in a few different places and was immediately intrigued by his story of rapid income growth. He shared some great ideas with me in this interview. Hope you enjoy.

  • How he turned himself into a protege for an A-List Blogger
  • How he went to 5 figures a month in 9 months
  • Why a guest post for Pro Blogger is not the magic bullet
  • Why doing everything “wrong” has actually been beneficial
  • Build a real business and use your blog as the primary marketing platform
  • The best way to determine affiliate products worth promoting
  • Using free blog setups to generate affiliate income

Johnny B. Truant is the fellow who, in nine months, used IttyBiz advice to go from never having made a cent online to a five-figure-monthly internet business. If you’d like him to help you with your own online mojo, you should totally hire him to coach you. He promises not to speak in third-person like this during your sessions. Glad everyone enjoyed this one! It was fun to do and did indeed turn out well (although I'm biased, kind of). Thanks a lot to Srinivas for getting in touch and interviewing me. Rock on, everyone.

Thanks.

Johnny Truant is inspiring. I like his writing: I am a regular.

Truant's folksy style is catchy; and his sense of humor, inviting.

John makes you feel at ease and draws you into his world.

John does not sound preachy; his self-deprecation means that readers can relate to his ideas.

John writes personal vignettes and shares wonderful stories, so you can identify with him. You find empathy and compassion for such a guy. And John wears his heart on his sleeve, doubtless.

No wonder John is by far my favorite blogger (although there are a lot of fabulous bloggers out there). We keep coming back for more.

Thanks, John, for all that you are and all that you have accomplished despite the setbacks and obstacles in your life.

And we hope and wish and pray that success and happiness follow your way. And keep on writing and contributing your amazing posts.

I've been following Johnny for a long time and I'm really godamn happy to see him doing so well these days. I've seen a select few people really take off lately in the same manner and it's giving me a lot of encouragement despite recent unemployment... getting my ass in freelance mode after doing startup life for a long time is becoming a challenge, but this is great motivation!
