This was hands down one of my favorite interviews I’ve done in a while because I got so many cool new ideas for things we we could do with our iPhones. I’ve already had a blast messing around with some of these apps.

One of our goals for 2012 is to become a top 100 show in iTunes. We can get there with your help and it will enable us to improve the how and bring on even bigger guests. So if you can, we’d be really grateful if you write us a review in iTunes.

Thanks for the insights Tom and Srini. Another great podcasting app for iPhone and Android is Spreaker. Lots of great podcasts over there as well. Audioboo is also great for getting the show up on iTunes. I just added my podcast to iTunes last week and in only a few hours I got accepted and the show art was all there.
I'd really like to hear more on the topic of bloggers and brands too. Great show!

Ileane Thanks so much for sharing those apps. I'll definitely start looking into those and seeing how they might be a fit for us. We're learning quite a bit about our own audience at the moment which has been really interesting.
Thanks for having me... hope folks investigate some of the stuff we were talking about..especially the apps... there truly is so much out there if you just find the time to look.
TomMartin my pleasure Tom. It was great to have you on the show. I had a blast talking about all those apps and mobile is going to play a big role in the things we do oin 2012 so I'm sure you influenced me on some level as well.

I think perhaps one of the reasons people don't use video is you are really opening yourself up and sort of letting people know you are working on something. There is a fear of people looking at you in a weird manner. When you blog (without video) you can do it in the comfort of your own home without judgement and the people who are interested in your work will find you. When you video you are really putting yourself out there, possibly before you even know whether or not you have something worth continuing. I think that is the hardest thing to get over when it includes taking/doing videos.
