Thanks for another great podcast! I’m a craft blogger and have friends who’ve seen success in publishing through Kindle. Love Betsy’s point about exhausting your market when you limit it to your blog audience–I’ll definitely be considering Kindle books in the future!
@makermama Thanks so much. WE seem to be a big hit with craft bloggers. I think that point abut exhausting your audience was one of the biggest takeaways from this whole interview.
@skooloflife @makermama The podcast has been totally relevant to me as a crafter–we’re all very hands-on in developing our online presence!
GREAT interview! I am completely obsessed with the Kindle too, after never thinking I’d want one. Got it as a gift and started using it a few weeks ago. I don’t think I’ll be buying too many “real” books in the future and am also thinking about publishing now, thanks to what I’ve heard here. Many thanks!
@Kelly Lester I was kind of the same. I got a few books on the Ipad Kindle reader and I was hooked. No shipping, you’ve got the book immediately, and you can highlight stuff and export the stuff you’ve highlighted. If ever want to use quotes I find in a blog post I just highlight them and then log into my Kindle account to look at them. I’ m definitely a convert.
